Pulled the trigger too quickly on selling my 9900 when I got my Z10. If I had to do it all over again, would have kept my 9900. So much more solid & stable than the Z10 in many ways. It met all my needs for work and personal use. Z10 & BBOS 10 took away features that worked just fine IMO.
I did exactly the same.. If I could go back, I would've kept my 99 too.. I still would've bought the Z as well though...

It's only fair to point out that the screen and keyboard of the Q10 are also very nice and, since it runs a far more robust OS, an argue, net could be made that it is the ultimate BB device.
I'm still flirting with the Q to this day.. It would've been my BlackBerry 10 device now if it had launched alongside the Z.. If early 2014 doesn't bring a specced up Z, I'll probably get the Q for company on the road and leaving the Z for use at home... I miss a keyboard when on the move..!

I love my Q10 but am actually considering getting a Bold for a friend who really needs a new phone. You guys recommend the 9930 because it has a camera? Do the Bold phones have an expandable memory slot?

The camera on the Bold 9900 is poor if not worthless at taking pics of documents. This is because of a lack of auto focus so everything is blurry at close range. Other types of shots are decent.

Yes, the Bold's have a micro SD slot. The 9930 is the SIM free version. The Bold 9900 requires SIM card.

    Hope this helps.

I still love my 9930 Bold and still use it from time to time, but my Z10 is so much faster and it gets things done without a fuss. And the Z10 keyboard is amazing!!!

    Jealous as hell !!!

Although my August 2010 9900 is still going strong I would love to have a new one in the box just in case.

The thought of having to go Q when it eventually dies terrifies me !!!

Messaging/communication on it is still superior to all other smartphones, but the rest of it is falling farther and farther behind the times. One thing that really ticks me off is the official Vevo YouTube videos won't play on it, and now Vevo mobile site won't even play. Just music, but no video. And it used to work until Vevo redid their site earlier this month. Frustrating...

Anybody know of a work around...

If a BB10 device is going to be the best BB ever, how come I still switch back to my 9930 for a few days every now and again?

Because you bought a Z10 when you prefer a physical keyboard?

The Q phones so far have been disappointing for me because the screens are too small for BB10's chunky user interface. A Q needs to be 16:9 wide screen but somehow with a keyboard too.

9900 is def a classic but like most tech things hardly timeless. The thing is slow as molasses aside from texting, emails and social messages. It's also quite buggy subject to not uncommon battery pulls.

I wouldn't mind Q10 juice coupled w 9900 design esp the trackpad. One thumb to rule them all.
