    The battery could be bad or the metal contacts dirty. If you've covered that, then try leaving battery out for a few minutes. My 9900 does that occasionally.

    Then be sure to have blackberry desktop software installed. Worst case scenario you'll have to reinstall the OS.

    Can anyone remember if the Bold can boot off Usb power? Does the bold have the ability to be powered without the battery in it? For some reason I remember some blackberries having this battery bypass feature. This way we know if the battery is toast.

    I think it can't I already tried one but the phone won't turn on

    You might of drained the battery, try plugging into your usb and charging via computer.

    I'd buy a new battery and check it. As far as I know you can't use a 9900 with the battery out, even if on a charger. I tried this with a friend's Torch.
