Hi,

I currently have a Bold 9700 that keeps rebooting, I'm not sure if it's down to the device has short-curcited or what.... Anyways, the phone has no software on it as I'm unable to put any on as it wont stay on for longer than around 30secs, so it loads up shows me the error for a good 25-30secs then reboots and does the samething again, I'm unable to put software on it because as I'm doing it, it will reboot again causing the phone to lose connection to my PC.

Any help is appreciated.

Remove the battery, connect it and run apploader right away. Quickly go through the prompts and let it lock on and load the OS. You'll need to do it multiple times to get it right. Good luck. Once the OS is successfully loaded, connect the battery and let it reconnect to the JVM and continue.

heh, my gf's bold does the same loop too - i.e. ever since she used it while wet.
