Ok if it's ordered in the store, store rules apply, such as mail in rebates. If it's ordered online, rebate is instant. If we order for you in the store, FEDEX 2 day shipping

I can just imagine how these forums are going to light up if we find out that the dates of 6/3 and 6/10 are not valid or get pushed!

This may be a silly question, but does anyone know if the 10th is the same day that this phone would be available by 3rd party retailers? (Best Buy, Walmart, etc.)

I have been wondering the same thing. Being on different networks, with differences in PTT and such, I am thinking that it would be a different version, however that is nothing but a guess on my part.

It will be interesting to see when the 9650 shows up on Verizon's webpage. Maybe late Wednesday night or wee hours of the morning on Thursday??

I have wondered this myself. I don't think it happens at midnight. Maybe at the start of business like 8 or 9 am. But I have no idea..

I'm guessing .699. Sprint's 9650 released with .621 and almost immediately .699 was released which was needed to correct a number of small issues. Perhaps VZW insisted on having all their 9650s released with .699 pre-loaded and tested which has caused the delay.

well, sprint's 9650 is listed as $449.99 at retail, so hopefully that's a good indicator for the price at verizon...
