Ok, my 9650 developed a strange problem :eek: This has happened two times now in the past few days,...
The phone will be working fine, them i notice the load timer will come on the screen every 10 seconds or so, it stays for about 4 seconds them goes off,. after doing this for a while the phone gets very hott :confused:
Reboot and problems goes away, Any ideas ?? Running latest Official OS6
Are you using an application while it gets hot/slows down?
Or does it just happen randomly while your device is idle?
Random when Idle ... not using any apps,.. Wondering if it's BlackBerry Protect backing up..
How often do you have it set to back-up?
Do you have Whatsapp installed? Whatsapp used to malfunction, causing abnormal CPU usage on our Blackberries a while back..
Go to your app settings and look under "CPU" to see what's using up the most CPU time on your phone

No, don't have Whatsapp installed..
If you're in a low signal area, it could be your phone constantly searching for a signal.
Negative, Happened Twice when i was home .. Full Signal
Doh. I'd go with examing your phone's CPU usage as previously mentioned.
