Nice anecdote, although I did have to go hunting for your reply in the quote hehe. I decided to hold off on buying another battery - trying out the OS/hybrid route first for better battery life before spending on a Seidio.

Yes, I'll be buying the Seidio (if hybrids can't help my battery life). Just need to find a better deal on shipping

I have a 1700mah and it only give a few more hours use, but I use an Otterbox Defender and the 2600mah one doesnt fit in it. I am mostly around a charger either at home, work, or in the car but I hate unplugging, and plugging my phone back in.

Honestly, ever since I got my 2600 battery, I do not have to worry about plugging in when in the car or using my pod at work. Although I sometimes do anyway...

The extended battery is amazing and it gives me what I always thought the Bold 9650 should have from the beginning...more battery time.

I am also a Seidio 2600 Extended battery user and it has allowed me to fully utilize my blackberry without worrying about battery drainage...

With the ext battery I don't worry about the phone dying. If I don't use my phone all day and at the end of the day I'll be at 80% I make a 45 min call and I'm down to almost 50 on the oem battery like the battery readin is off. My ext was under heavy use all day and I plugged it in after 14 hrs and it was still at 65%.
    Love this thing!

Thanks for the replies, although I might be holding off on the extended battery in favor of keeping the funds for the 9900.

I've also been getting better battery life due to experimenting with the OSBB hybrid, my device lasts at least 30% longer now and is a bit more bearable!

Although I would still love a Seidio 2600 mAh battery - my Otterbox Commuter's all ready to sacrifice itself for the cause lol.
