Will this allow me to read and write in Mandarin Chinese? I am in desperate need of a way to communicate with my family on my blackberry bold but the only speak, read, and write in Chinese.
i updated to .216 and everything works fine but wifi.. I can connect but i can't browse or anything. It connects to the router but will not browse I've read this thread but haven't really found a real answer of how to fix this. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Thank you !
i have downloaded the the latest s/w v4.6.0.247 but since i have done this it has deleted my BB messenger, i have tried to reload it off the d/m but cant find in apps loader also tried getting it from blackberry.com/messenger but states that my device is not compatable 'what a bold 9000?'
'help' any one have any idea's?
now i have retried apps loader it seems to have stuck on 'restore device data'
its been like that for gone 30 mins, this uprade is driving me bonkers!
I would wipe you handheld and start over and be very careful to mind (and fully) understand every step.
But my question to you is why use such an old OS? .247 would be your best all around bet-not to mention would be of the most recent available, stable and sound OS for the Bold. Good Luck!
I strictly followed this procedure . But during the upload i have got an error message like "fatal error ... please try again" .
Did you pill the cable during the install? It takes quite a few minutes to complete the install. It is easy to grow impatient, but as long as you have the spinning clock, you are fine. This can take up to 20 minutes. Are you sure you deleted the Vendor XML file and not another file?
