I was thinking the same thing when I was poking around cnn.cn Probably not possible because of software/hardware incompatibility. Which is too bad. I hardly use the camera on my Bold as everything comes out blurry. The camera is one thing I miss from the 8900 I had for a couple of days

I used to have a 5 MP on my N95 and used it alot. Now with the bold i never care to use my camera witch relly is a shame, it seems to be Bolds biggest weeknes.

My bold's pics are fine. Don't really get too many blurry ones or great ones. Btw, you guys do know that megapixels are strictly how big the pics are and have no bearing on image quality. That's dependant on the quality of the lens mechanism.

I don't have a problem with the image size, but they are blurry because of my shakey hands Good thing I'm not a surgeon

No, it's not possible to swap the Curve 8900 camera into the Bold 9000. The
Curve uses a larger square shaped camera. Also, the software on the Bold
would not be able to accommodate the additional pixels, as well as the
autofocus function.
