has any one upgraded their 9000 w/ the 6.0? or better yet, is it upgradeable? If so...how is it??
thinking of changing my 9700 back to a 9000...especially with the new bold coming out that will have that "feel" of the 9000....I just like bigger keyboard personally...

NO OS6 is not running on a bold 9000, the only thing you can upgrade with is a hybrid that contains OS6 cod files for exp.
This hybrid contains the last 1079/1082 and 6.0.0.600 cod files it run very smooth and has very fast internet browser also NO mem leaks try it and see.

I recommend uninstalling any other OS’s from your computer and running CCleaner (both file and registry with all options selected other than “wipe free space”) to ensure a clean install.


How to install
- Disable phone password

- (IMPORTANT!!) Make a back-up of your device using BlackBerry Desktop Software and use BBSAK for your Applications backup

- Install DelftEo BB9000 v6.1 using the installer package

This installer is total compleet it contains all, Modem drivers, usb drivers, Apploader, Wipe.
It is the same like the original RIM software
When installed this hybrid AND YOU HAVE YOUR BACKUP you can find the wipe software in C:\Archivos de programa\Archivos comunes\Research In Motion\
Wipe your BB and use the loader.exe you find at your desktop to load this upgrade.
For other way you can install this hybrid and use Blackberry Desktop software to upgrade he wil see the upgrade.

Yeap, there is no way to upgrade OS 6 to bold 9000.

Put the Hybrid in last night and now I have everything setup the way I like.

This OS runs fantastic.

First boot was much faster than .1067 and all subsequent boots are very fast.

I didn't have to shrink one single thing from the OS, all the garbage has already been scooped out.

I highly recommend anyone with a 9000 install this OS and re-install your apps and personal info. It really is nice. I use NetworkAcc 2.6 and my browser speed is the same but I have noticed the entire OS is smoother and more snappy. I imagine the browser in stock form will be as well. Especially for people who have not reduced the size of their OS or those people still running an official OS.

I´m glad that final my first installer is installed succesfully, i changed all the 6.0.0.600 cod for 7.0.0.187 in my BB and are testing how they handle.
I will upload the new V7 theme but with NEW OS7 icons tonight.
I can tell ya that this first installer gave my a lot to work.
But now i know the secret so more hybrids follow.
