Looking for the same answer. I wanna get on 5.0 but it seems 5.0.0.93 has some issues with quite a few programs. Facebook being one of them, I don't wanna give up facebook.

from another thread, it does NOT work. You can download it from app world but the icon will not show up.

I agree with some of the sentiments here. I upgraded to 5.0, used it for a week. I didn't mind losing facebook as i barely use it anyway. I had a lot of other problems such as browser would hang, random reboots etc. I'll be waiting for an official release as well.

You will need a newer build for it to work. .093 does not.

I don't think it's a 5.0.0.X version problem. It's that the program uses API's that have changed even the ever slightest. Those apps that are TIED into the OS (such as AIM, MSN, all those instant messaging apps, and FB included) have to be updated to work with that OS. It's possible that the 1.6 will work, but FB and RIM will have to work together to include the code to work with both operating systems in one... It's a shame. I want 5.0.0.120 to come out already! I want it :$.

I could be wrong about all that tho, hehe.
