I just happened to take a look on blackberryforums and it is mentioned there, screenshots of .291 on the DM apploader and OS on the Bold were also posted.
It is not yet on TM UK site, I checked. It is some sort of wireless update. They got it by plugging BB into Pc and going to bb.com/updates site, they did this after receiving an email also. He is a TM uk user too.

plugged in bold i was then ask to update my updater! then it installed .291,seems like updates maybe coming through 'officially' from blackberry rather than beta?
It's an online upgrade via T-Mo UK. Several of us are working our UK contacts to have someone rip this and upload so it can be shared. Otherwise we will have to wait on the physical upgrade file that normally lags a week or two behind the online upgrade.
Rim is being gay on this new *type in your pin and get your carrier's OS* thing. Its pissing me off. I looked all day and couldn't find a way to the most up to date device software

well, I got the same email, asked me to connect using IE in order to get the update, I download the file instead of running it, so here it is, I don't have any idea if is just for the Bold, mine is a Bold so use the file under your own risk... here is the //rapidshare.com/files/260512901/ApploaderWebSL-Upgrade.msi.html
