Hey currently running a tmobile 8320. I was wondering when this comes out, and if I decide to go and get it, will it have 3G. Since the 8320 doesn't have 3G I don't know what will happen.

So question:
Pop in tmobile sim to 9700 will give me 3G on phone?

If your in a 3G area and the 3G towers are active, yes.

Tmonile has other 3g phones just not BB yet. It doesn't mean that if you have a 3g capable BB it will now have 3g.

Well to answer your messy question sir: T-Mobile is Messed up. jk

They could've had the Bold before the death star did but they had to pass on it due to conflict between 3G and UMA. There had only been one SK released by tmo this year and they dont plan on another till the next so they figured they'll go all out on it. Besides, its their og flagship device. Now how many BBs have tmo released this year? A buttload lol jk. A lot more than the number of SKs released. But don't worry, we should see one before the end of the year!
