do you reboot everyday? Its pretty much part of the daily maintenance. I run 13 apps and after a nightly reboot I still have 160mb available that gets me through the next day.

Even the memory loss on my iphone 5C is an issue each week, just not as frequent as the 9900.

Lately, yes and I only run probably 5 apps at most and good about shutting them down. Soooo tired of apps these days constantly being updated. Just stupid. Shazam being the worst app for bloat. Pinterest is right up there with constant updates as is Instagram, and skype.

Just an FYI but for your 9900 there is an EXCELLENT app for Instagram called "Client For Instagram" and it lets you upload, tag, see your IG profile pics, etc. Check it out.

As for Pinterest, when I upload a pic, I still don't see where you can hashtag a pic.

For net radio I prefer TuneIn (and it works epic on the 9900)

This is why I love Shazam on the 9900. Its super light weight, loads real fast and works reliably every time I use it to match a tune. I have it configured with ShortcutMe to launch and listen with two key clicks - space s. So many times I have used this to quickly find song names. No other device I used is as fast as the 9900 for this. The ability to use an app like ShortcutMe to create so many vast key launch macros is the epitome of what makes pkb with BBOS 7.1 so awesome.

Yes, and also I just found out that it's not an os7 like I thought but rather os5.

Yes, it was mainly a CDMA phone, but it has had a place for SIM card. Some models of BlackBerry was called a "World Edition". With this type of BlackBerry you could fly all over the world without changing your phone. In this 9650 case you could use it in CDMA mode and in normal GSM - EDGE and UMTS 2100mHz

I'm curious if Rogers has said anything about ending BIS support yet.

I would be shocked if that were the case. Most of the BBOS phones still in use here in Canada are in southern Ontario which is Rogers strongest subscriber base.

Im using the 9900 for EVERYTHING, and giving my iphone a break. The beauty of this IG client app is that you don't actually enter IG to use it, therefore there is no lag. You just click the pic, then the BB button, then select "upload to IG" then tag, and BAM!

it was one of the "Best of 2015" apps mentioned in App World.

I'm not sure if anyone else is on Tmobile but I am as well. I'm in North America and have had my current plan with them since 2012 so I have unlimitted everything, data, talk and text and my data does not slow down after a certain amount of GB. I mainly use my Q10 but switch back to my legacy devices often just for fun and it works flawlessly. I'm not sure if it's because I was on their plan with BIS since day 1 or what. I pay $75 a month plus taxes/fees but that includes my BIS/Data. Just wanted to share my experiences and the 3G can be a bit lacking in some places.
