The speed at which the card reads and writes data... The higher the class, the higher the speed. I believe it corresponds to the MB/s transfer speed... ie. Class 2 = 2 MB/s, Class 4 = 4 MB/s, and so on...
Class 6 is fastest, but only helps when transferring data on and off. It has no real effect on the Bold reading the media. Class 2 A Data card and no issues.
I know before I had a class 2 16gb and everytime I went to use the video camera, it would have about 8-10 seconds of lag before it would start recording... Just want to avoid that...

Have you avoided it?
I am considering upgrading my card I wasn't aware I even paid for through ATT. Sneaky wording, actually flat out lied. ******* said "I get" it and other things with my purchase, my bill said otherwise.
Have a 2Gb now, probably class 2 also. Thinking about a 8/16gb class 4/6 card. Just looking to improve loading/save times, opening things media related quicker and such. If possible.
