A Rogers employee said they will be getting this phone sometime in august nothing in september or late july. Just sometime in august!

The thing is, it's not really up to RIM anymore (in the U.S.). The carriers have to push the devices out... So I won't really believe it until I get a PR from a US Carrier.

The 9900 will make RIM. No way it will dissapoint. My version is far from the final version but the infant OS7 works very well. The CPU and build quality of the 9900 will help RIM back with style!

Same here. I agree, I am addicted to this site thanks to Bold 9900. After this 9900 gets out, I may not even post anything here on crackberry for a long period. Unless there are problems with my 9900, I will stay away from my crackberry addiction.

I am going to buy 9900 after it hits the market for about a month so this way I can read all the complains from users before I buy.

greg you lucky dog! from what I have read and seen it will be phenomenal. Pair that up with a Playbook and we shouldn't want for anything else for a long time. Even with my 8330 fossil, my PC is collecting more and more dust!

Since the folks at RIM don't necessarily live on the same planet as the rest of us it seems, you may want to bear in mind that "month" could be quite flexible. Assuming 12 months in a year, one month on Jupiter is just under 1 Earth year for instance...

Same here. I have a friend who works for Bell who's ready to hook me up with a cheaper plan than Rogers.

I called a Sprint rep and ask would or does Sprint release new devices on Sundays, and she said they (Sprint) release whatever day is good, so yes, Sunday release on 08/21/11 in the US on Sprint wouldn't be a big suprise.

Sunday seems to be the day they have chosen. read somewhere that vodafone UK is releasing it on August 14th. Phones4u uk is expecting to ship it on Aug 15th.
