I just got a zagg invisible shield put on my screen on my 9900. I never thought I'd put put anything on my phones but I was with a family member who was getting her whole iphone done, so I decided to get my screen protected. Anyways, I'm finding it a lot more hard to scroll and swipe on the screen. It has a rubbery feel that seems to grab onto my thumb pretty nicely. The family member I was with said she had it put on her old iphone and that when it sets and dries out it won't feel like that anymore. Does this go away? I figured since it was applied with the watery solution, maybe it just needs a day to dry out or something?
I had the Vzw sold screen protector on for about 2 weeks, but once I took it off to swap out with a fresh one and noticed how much smoother and nicer the screen is without a protector, I decided to leave it alone, and there's no going back. Now I don't know about the ZAGG clarity/smoothness, but the bare screen is SO much nicer now.
Yeah, it's always the unexpected, and BAM...your phone slides deep into a crack between your car seat and center console, and as you manage to rescue it out.......
:P

I just put this on my 9900 last night... so far my only complaint is the Zagg logo in the bottom corner of the film, that's BS.
Anyhow as for the feel of it, just give it some time. I didn't like the way it changed the feel of my iPhone when I first put it on a year or two ago. It definitely changes the feel of the touch screen for good, but as others have said after a bit of time you get used to it and it "sticks" less.
It definitely needs to dry out good due to the method for applying, in fact the instructions say to turn the device off when you put it on, and leave it off for 24 hrs.
If you wind up not liking it, try another brand, look for an anti glare / anti finger smudge one, they tend to feel more slick and definitely reduce the amount of smudges and grease form your fingers / face.
my only complaint about the zagg protector is that it actually says "zagg" in the bottom right corner on the screen

Send a complaint to ZAGG and they'll send you a version without a logo (that's what they offered to do for me when I sent them a nast email about it. You'll just need to provide them with some info from the box.) I eneded up returning mine to Best Buy, so didn't take them up on their offer, but don't see why they wouldn't do the same for you guys.
btw, the zagg logo will come off with a little bit of nail polish remover on a q-tip. stupid of them to put it on a product they market as 'invisible'.

Tried that. Didn't work out quite as well as it did for getting the Rogers logo off my phone. Left a small smear in the corner where the Zagg logo used to be and ultimately looked worse. I switched to Tru Protection Anti Glare and they went on much easier, also don't really feel "sticky" like the Zagg. A bit of getting used to at first as the anti glare can appear somewhat "hazy" which is a little bit of a bummy, text doesn't like quite as sharp.
I love zagg for my screen. They REALLY dropped the ball on the full coverage though :| it's not a proper fit at all around they keyboard. But you couldn't pay me to choose anything else when it comes to screen protection. Got it on my PlayBook also. Dreamy <3

screen protectors aren't all the same! i wish ppl would do more research before they start talking. anywho because zaggs are wet applied there is a 24 hour set in process that takes place so any streaks you see will be gone. keep the zagg on, trust me youll learn to love it plus its always the minute you take a SP or case of is exactly when you drop your phone. i know zagg isnt cheap but they do come with lifetime warranties.
