This could have been answered before but, here goes anyway:

When I try to setup my email account on my new BB I put in my email address and password and then press Activate. I then receive the message "Aquiring Service Connection" but I am connected via O2 and Wi-fi? What am I doing wrong anyone?

As always, thanks for your help.

The email set up doesn't work trough wifi, do you have signal or are you just on wifi? Try disconnecting wifi first.

I have both signal and wi-fi: I will switch off wi-fi and try again, thanks very much

You have a BB data plan, correct? You must have one for this to work. Do you see the BB logo on your screen next to "3G" or "H+", or even "EDGE"?

By calling O2 and telling them you need a BlackBerry data feature.

Just did this and they say it will be active by tomorrow

This is a brilliant forum and a big thanks for all who get back so swiftly. The only other forum to achieve this is the Serif forum which I also use.

    Thanks again guys.
