- So i really wanna get the bold 9930. But i keep reading mixed reviews and don't know which to go on? Is it worth getting and paying 200 bucks for? I miss my BB!03-04-12 11:10 AMLike 0
- If you are getting a blackberry the bold is the best IMO. Every device has their own issues and the bold is no different than the rest. I use mine all day every day with very few issues. I will say I am on my fourth replacement but for minor reasons.
Sent from my BlackBerry 9930 using Tapatalk03-04-12 11:19 AMLike 0 - I have had the bold 9000, curve 8330 and the 8530, and now i really want the 9330. Think i will get it! Thx.03-04-12 11:22 AMLike 0
- I've tried the 9900 numerous times and have decided the 4s is for me. I've been a BB user for the past 5 yrs.(8330,9630,9650,9800,9810,9900) I like the 9900 but for 1 the camera doesnt have auto focus, Battery life doesnt compare to the 4s, I like being able to use facetime with my kids when I'm away, and the app selection/support cannot be touched. I'm into fantasy football so 3 apps are crucial for me. My Fantasy League,Sirius XM, Score center. All which BB doesnt have. Good luck with your decision.03-04-12 11:35 AMLike 0
- If you like Blackberries Bold 99xx is the best one in the market right now. I know there are some issues with this phone from hardware defects to software issues. But this is the best phone with a physical keyboard for me.
But, if you spend a little more time with your iPhone 4s you may be able to fall in love with it. I don't know how is the battery life on iPhone 4s compared to the Bold 9900. I am even thinking going to Android or iPhone 4s if RIM fail to deliver a great phone on their new BB 10 devices.03-04-12 11:44 AMLike 0 - I've tried the 9900 numerous times and have decided the 4s is for me. By the time BB 10 comes out, hopefully iPhone 5 will come out. Also there will be more improved Androids at that time. I could go either way. Thank you for your input.03-04-12 11:57 AMLike 0
- Honestly, the battery sucks on the 4S imo. Seemed like i was charging it everyday.. But then again my wifi was constantly on! 4S is basically an app phone. Thats it. Im not sure what all the hype was over it. I've always been a BB fan and i thought i would love the 4S but i wanna go back to BB, its all ive ever known lol.03-04-12 12:17 PMLike 0

- Paid $199 + tax for mine and I love it. The new OS has helped my battery life. Only you know what it's worth to you.03-04-12 02:00 PMLike 0

- I just got it over President's Day for FREE from BestBuy. I am still getting use to it but FREE was not a bad price.
Battery life seems less than my 9650/Bold but it boots a heck of a lot faster. Been reactivating my various apps. I am getting use to using a touch screen (and swiping on the 9650 does not work well).03-04-12 02:23 PMLike 0 - I dumped my iPhone 4 and went back to BB, (BB 9900), this phone is terrific, my battery life is better with it versus the iPhone and I like the screen size much more. I also have a PB so that helps. Unless they make major changes to the iPhone 5, I won't own another of those, I can't type on that useless screen. The BB 9900 is the best product out there if you need to send plenty of messages.03-04-12 02:34 PMLike 0
- I'm still using my first BB 8330 (with OS 4.3, no less) but have been considering a change. So — from what I've read above, it might be a good move to jump to a bold 9930rather than just updating the 8330's OS? I use mine mostly for calling and texting, not so much for the web because of the slowness.03-04-12 03:10 PMLike 0

- If your 99xx is fully functional and defect free it will be a great phone. Unfortunately, as RIM quality descends into something Dante never envisioned, the odds of that are less than great.03-04-12 03:39 PMLike 0

- I just bought the 9930 from amazon for $79 last week. This phone is awesome. I haven't had any battery issues and I use mine heavily.
Bought my gf a 4s a while back and had plenty of time to play with and despite the peer presure I chose the 9930 and I am so happy that I did.
Go with the 9930, you won't regret it. Virtually all of my gripes that I used to have are solved.03-04-12 05:35 PMLike 0 - Tried a 4S for a few weeks. Returned it. The thing about "Tools not Toys" rings true for me. My 9930 is an incedible tool for me to get done what I need to and move on. And once I ditched Facebook my battery life increased dramaticly. I can get 20 hours out of it. Haven't had any issues with build quality either. I'm gonna keep faith in RIM. I have been hooked since I bought my first 7100t and I believe there will always be a segment of the population that isn't amused by the newest Apple toy.03-04-12 08:59 PMLike 0
