I am not even sure I'll want or need a screen protector but most of the places I've seen selling them are for 9900 only and I'd like to have one on day 1 (they're only a few dollars). If I buy screen protector for 9900 does anyone know if it will for sure fit the 9930?

Yea both phones are identical physically. Get the 9900 screen protection fro your 9930. And please post the link of the website which is selling it.
they are all over Amazon -- tons of small sellers selling them though none of the makers that sell the highest rated screen protectors for the Iphone or Droids yet -- but for $5 it is just a holdover for me in case I really need/want one and the better ones won't be out for a few weeks or months
just search screen protector blackberry 9900 (or 9930) and you'll see them
There are little to no privacy protector style screen protectors that I've been able to find.... 1 on ebay for $10. But that's it. Has Anyone been able to find a better source for these? If so share a link and help out a fellow addict! Thanks!

Will the old Bold 9000 screen protector fit? Are the screen sizes the same?
Yes. The 9900 and the 9930 are the same phone except for the antennae.
9900: HSPA+ (AT&T, T-Mobile in the US)
9930: CDMA 3G (Verizon, Sprint in the US).
But on the outside the phone is exactly the same.
I assume that the reason most of the screen protectors say for 9900 is because that was the device that was released first.

No. The Bold 99XX has a larger screen than the old Bold 9000.
