Hello everyone,I'm a newbie here and would appreciate any help)I just bought a 9900,already tried 10 firmwares) and still can't choose network mode,what's the problem?Vendor id613

Yes,my carrier is MTS Russia

If you can't choose a different network mode, then A: You have no other options other than 2G although you are getting 3G so it doesn't make sense or B: They won't let you like some other carriers.

I installed sim card from this carrier to samsung and it switches perfectly

Ya but Samsung is android - they probably have it configured differently

And why i can't choose network,i mean i don't have manual mode selection....What's wrong with my BB??

when i change it from 3g to 2g it won't even ask me to apply changes,it just exits to previous screen...
