I was one of those idiots who bought the Torch on AT&T the day it came out only to be slapped in the face a few weeks later when they dropped the price.

I Think they will do the same with the Bold. I am waiting awhile regardless.

They always drop in price after a few weeks. I would imagine there will be some deals around Black Friday too.

My guess is they'll initially throw it out there for $199.99 then wait about 45 days to drop the price in half when the return period is over.

Black Friday deals usually apply to new customers and not-so-new releases.

Bold 9700 released in november 2009, went to half price in december. Torch 9800 came out august 2010, went half price during holidays as well.

Hopefully previous patterns are a solid indication.
