Hi Guys!

I have just attended the Blackberry launch party in Singapore organised by the RIMM and one of the Telco in singapore.

I managed to speak to the product manager who presented the event and I was told verbally and again that it was indeed "Gorilla" glass that is on the Bold 9900.

I was also told that that have a "WHITE" Bold 9900 for Q4!

I understand from my earlier posting that these are all hear say and there is no immediate or official statement.. To me, I am just trying to share on the forum about updates which I know!

I hope this is good news for those who are looking for a white X-mas but only time will tell!

Right now, I am enjoying my "Black Beauty" Bold 9900!!

I said this in another thread, but I highly doubt there is much anticipation outside of CrackBerry for a white device. Apple popularized all that hoopla, it doesn't work anywhere else though.

Not sure what the excitement is about a white phone, but, my wife absolutely loves my 9900, but she won't give up her white 9800 for one. She said she's gonna wait until they come out with a white 9900. I guess she'll be happy to know this now.

I loved my White 9700 cause it looked nicer-----but the Bold 9900 looks so hot in Black, i don't think white will make it look much better.

They mixed the trackpad with the battery cover. The trackpad has to be transparent(which appears black) in order to function correctly.

9900 T-Mobile black coming tomorrow cant wait but im sure tmo will get it a white 9900 before At&t and if not soon after. i think i may sell the black one just to purchase the white one.

Well, I remember why I didn't really want a white 9900...the battery door. I know it's needed because of NFC, but I really didn't like it when they initially showed that photoshopped image.
If in fact it's got a black battery door, I'll just go with a black 9900.
