you don't need to wait, you can install any OS by deleting the vendor.xml file

the OS comes from BlackBerry not from the carrier, it is up to the carrier to release it on their downloads or not when they have time to finish their usual tests

Well, just go and get which OS it is you want to install.

Get it loaded onto your PC...the vendor file is USUALLY in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files

Now if you're using Vist or higher there is sometimes a second vendor file here C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.

Now that you've deleted the vendor file[s], jus plug you BlackBerry into the PC and open up desktop manager.

You should be greeted with a NEW OS that is available to install on your handheld!

i only manage to find one vendor file i deleted it, then plugged my bb into pc and didnt get no NEW OS
