i want a sports app for my bold 9900

I think the ScoreMobile app was the last one for the 9900. It doesn't seem to work anymore, so I just use espn.go.com. I set up a link to the homescreen (just press the BlackBerry button when you're viewing the page in the browser to do this). You could set the link as espn.go.com/core/scoreboard if you just want scores.

The downside to this approach is that you don't get push notifications, like the ScoreMobile app used to provide.

If anyone knows of a still-functioning app, I'd be interested too.

Where there's a will, there's a way. If you're looking for real-time updates: Turn Your Email, SMS Inbox, Or Anything Into A Scoreboard With IFTTT And ESPN

I'll give this a try tonight or tomorrow. It looks like it should work. Edit: it does work.

Endomondo works well on my 9900, not sure whether it is still available in the Blackberry World but if it is, check it out. The Pro (paid for) version has a low battery mode, which was essential for me as I go out cycling all day and can keep endomondo logging my ride without killing the battery on my Bold.
