Because I mainly use my BB for work...during the day. I need all of my productivity apps at my fingertips. I can get to BBM & the browser at anytime by holding the menu key...good enough for me!
9650 user chiming in. I switch them around, depending on whether I'm using keyboard shortcuts or Universal Search at the time. But the one that's consistently there, the one I can't live without is ... Password Keeper!
I usually keep my icons hidden until I need to open one. Since I'm right handed I have my most used icons on the right side of the screen so my thumb can reach them easily. I only use the "All" panel, and only 18 icons, all others are unchecked or hidden. I like to keep my BlackBerry steamlined so navigation is quick and efficient. Between keyboard shortcuts and QuickLaunch I can access any screen/app with one or two keypresses
Messages, Text, Berryweather, Google Maps, Opera Mini and Score Mobile.
Berryweather because I work outdoors and need to know the weather, Maps so I know where I am going at work, Mini cause its an awesome browser and score cause I am a sports freak.
Is it just me or does the os6 and 7 tray look diffrent , the os7 tray seems more transparent, meanwhile os6 is more dark so your wallpapers dnt stand out much huh

Makes no diff to me. Use the native BB shortcut keys. Almost everything I use including 4 of the 15 apps I use are all accessible with one key. I do have my Media folder linked to my convienience key to quickly access cameras, pics and music. Couldn't live without my BB shorties!
