Wait for it to revive and then sell it.
i'm sure the OP would love to do this. but if OP ask about selling as parts, i'm sure that OP cant claim any warranty because it was bought in another country or on ebay or from privat seller. OP probably already tried everything and selling as parts is the only way out. Please think twice before writing any pointless comment.
And how exactly is this a pointless comment, you pretentious piece of trash?
If the OP wanted an answer about a phone that he bought online, out of contract, he should have stated as such. Otherwise, the majority of people who read his comment would have responded exactly how Procterboy did, encouraging him to return it to AT&T or Verizon and get a replacement.

If you bought the phone private or Ebay etc. the first thing you can do is learn from your mistake that will save you a lot more than $600 in the long run.
Yes it is worth money Screen $50 Back door $10 Housing $50 Battery nothing (joke) $15 keyboard $20
Maybe $25 for the rest as the earphone jack and the volume buttons have use.
So it is saleable for $125 at least.
Good luck!:)
what a piece of trashy comment. it's already implied on the OP question. i dont think OP hasnt thought about it already if the case was that easy. maybe this forum is to high for your level of IQ. as far as i can see, only his comment and your suggesting to do so, showing how shallow your thoughts are.
blackberry also offers out of warranty repairs. Its a bit pricy but i believe that it will be better than scrapping the entire phone...
ps. its also possible that once they have it the someone will feel a tad guilty about the entire situation and send you a replacement free of charge...this happened to me before with a pair of Shure headphones.
gl man,
By chance do you know what OS version was installed on the device before it nuked?
Thank you berry4eva, obviously if i couldve returned it i would but im at the end of the plank. obviously ive tried every possible trick in the book, now its just sitting underneath a pile of clothes.
Can someone point me to a link of off warranty repair from blackberry, as dumb as it may sound i would pay up to 300 to have it fixed because here in bahamas they are selling this phone for 900+ because there is about a 30 percent markup on electronics
I just put a 9800 in for repair at Rogers and they use Flextronics in Newmarket Ontario. I think Flextronics also makes some of the Blackberries. You might want to see if you can find a direct contact at Flextronics in country close to you or easy to ship to. Here is a link to start your search.
