Left my iPhone 4 and I doubt I'll be going back. I will miss the syncing between my iMac, iPad and iPhone the most, but I will figure out workarounds. Moreover, once you get past all of the fluff in iOS, it actually gets rather boring, leaving me wanting a device that just works excellently for communication purposes. Hence the Blackberry. I won't miss the app environment too much simply for the fact that I still have my iPad. My important apps are available in the App World anyway. Loving the 9930 thus far!

will be leaving my 9800 and iP 3GS. loved both phones at one point but the 9800 was ungodly slow at times and a bit too thick and im EXTREMELY bored with ios. i did almost everything you could do to an iphone from jailbreaking and modding to replacing parts. after using my friends 9930 i fell in love border line obsession lol.

Leaving my HTC EVO 4G on Sunday.

Loved the phone/android, but now that I have a tablet I want my phone to be dedicated to messaging and phone calls. This device seems perfect for me.

I am not sure what the compatibility with Apple products is like but you might want to explore Funambol. This is the third BlackBerry device I have used it with and it syncs my contacts and calendars in Outlook very well. You can sync other things besides those two but that is all I care about. It just requires the app on your BB and a plug in on your PC/Mac.

Started with an 8800 on AT&T (work), picked up a Storm 9530 along the way, then a Storm2 9550, on to a Bold 9650...then I tried all the others, Pre2, Droid X, ThurnderBolt, iPhone 4, back to the Bold, back to the T-Bolt...waiting for a more robust hardware option from RIM...in a mere few hours I'll be back on BB, BES and happy.

And...to answer the OP's questions I left a Storm2 9550. I am loving the 9930. I didn't hate the Storm2 like many did. It worked pretty well for me. I just missed having a physical keyboard. That and I dropped the 9550 screen down in a parking lot last Sunday and shattered the touch screen. Worked out well for me. Work said I might as well get a new device since the insurance replacement cost was going to be $100 anyway for another 9550.

The only let down I have had is the battery life. I knew it would be 3 days like my old Curve but I thought it would be noticeably better than the Storm2. They are about the same for me. I will say I have been using the 9930 rather heavily the first few days though since it is a new toy and I had to resolve the App World/BB Identity issue after trying the device switch with DM before the issue was known to not do that with third party apps involved.

Overall very happy with the Bold 9930. Best keyboard EVAH!
