Everyone talks about it but no explanation about what it is?
Is it the phone just shutting off and not booting? Can't you just reinstall the OS and everything is fine again?
What am I missing?

Bricked - Phone is DEAD, will not load OS on boot up, You may see LED light, but will never boot fully, or not boot at all. = Paper weight
Bricked - is pretty much after all advanced support has taken place and the device will not load at all. Not even Java load. THe device will be sent back and a replacement is shipped out to the user
A “Nuked” Blackberry is when it is stuck in a reboot loop. It powers on with the hourglass display, it shuts off, and then it repeats this pattern over and over again. Most times a "Nuked" BlackBerry will display a white screen with a error code, once any key is pressed it will reboot and repeat.
