Sooo, WeatherEye 2.4.4.5 is out according to App World on my computer, but on my 9900, all I'm getting it 2.4.4.3 which is really wonky. The screen is rotated 90 degrees and cut off.

Anyone know how I can get App World to give me the updated version? Even the description on App World on my phone has the notes for 2.4.4.5 but i can only download 2.4.4.2.

    Halp! Please

Weather eye was messed up for me too. On another note, The Weather Channel has updated their app to 2.1.1 and it's working fine with OS7 now.

It could take a couple days for the App World cache to clear. Once it does you should see the new version.

You can submit some detailed information, including OS platform, release, build, the version of WeatherEye that you're running, and the issue you're experiencing to [email protected]

I used the link and after the reboot the app appeared on my home screen. However, it is not in the My World section of blackberry app world, is it supposed to be there?

    First Berry with a touchscreen.

First time I ran it, it switched to the 'landscape' orientation. Ughhh!!!

After tooling around for a spell, I managed to get the app upgraded to the latest build. It will not update, keeps moving me to a nearby city (annoying), homescreen icon stays with the logo and never shows current conditions. It may be time to go with BerryWeather.

OK I know currently there arent alot of options for weather at the moment but I think I have found a solution for those having problems and using weathereye 2.5.0 for the 9900/9930. I pretty much tested all the versions from 2.1.0 to the latest and finally found a version that works; so far no popups for me (1 day and 1 night and counting) no orientation messed up, download from OTA below:

    Short Ver OTA: http://www.tinyurl.com/ak0088
Long Ver OTA (for those worried): http://weyebb.pelmorex.com/BlackBerr...hereye9800.jad

*basically its the 9800 weathereye 2.4.6 -no autolocate problems, and no random popups, hope this helps some of you.

If you press the bb button and then uncheck the Show on Homescreen box, it will no longer pop up. The weather eye icon will still be on your home screen, but you will have to touch the screen or click on it to get the weather condition. no more pop up but takes away the at a glance option. Hope this helps.
