Wallpapers on the 9900 / BB7
Hey gang! I just upgraded from my old curve 8900 to the new 9900. Super slick device. Sorry for the hassle but I got a quick question that is driving me nuts. I might have had a similar problem on my old 8900 - but I dont remember how I fixed it *or* if this is just related to how the BB 7 software handles photos, but I always use the same photo as my homescreen. I have used it for years. When I download the photo on to the new 9900 and "set as wallpaper" - it crops it and zooms in!!!!! I need to figure out how to stop BB from automatically taking the picture and applying it as a cropped image. I want the original image preserved. This is how I had it set up on my old BB. The picture as it is happens to have black banners on the top and bottom, so the picture is perfect with those black banners because the top of the BB screen where all the info is just has a nice black background along with the bottom icons.
Sorry community....I know this is a annoying one, but if anyone could assist me in configuring BB to stop zooming in on this picture when I set it as a wallpaper that would be great! When I view the picture in the media gallery it looks fine and just like it should, but the application as a wallpaper makes it look horrid on the actual home screen !
I will attach the pic so you can all see it and see what I am taking about with the banner etc
Thanks BB community!
