My 9900 is all business and it's outstanding. (Had 3 before including 8700 and 9000)
The keyboard and touch screen is an awesome combo. Reminds me of my Palm Treo from days gone by. ;-) Application and file space more than adequate for my use case which is primarily email, PIM, and other productivity apps. Disappointed in battery life. Also camera, which I would like to use for document capture, is very poor. (More than acceptable for general purpose point-and-shoot though).
I HATE this phone. The speed is great and all but there is way too much problems.
The phone likes to do things when i hold it in my hands. ie call random people, start camera mode, start navigation(even though i place icon in a folder), 3way calls people with the touch of my ear. I would love this phone more if i can turn off the stupid touch screen. So are these problem just me or anyone else having this issue too?

Un, you do realize you can hit the top button to lock it. I do that as soon as I am in a call to avoid that issue.
I am not happy. My sdcard doesnt work.
My signal is getting lost every five minutes.
Twitter doesnt work right, facebook neither.
Webbrowser getting errors every time.
I have to reset a lot.
I want to scream, i am sending it back. My 9780 was muchhhhh better.

I love my bold and wouldn't trade it for another phone if you paid me. Of course yes it is a little behind but when considering the totality of where Rim is vs. where they were when they started and what is coming in the near future, it really is a great platform.
Vote and share people. Problems exists BUT it is not as widespread and as bad as stated by some people. This poll should be a testimony and feedback from average users.
Overall I love this phone! Sure, the specs don't exactly match the iPhone, but there is one thing the iPhone doesn't have (and many other phones too): an awesome f***ing keyboard like this bad boy does! Seriously, its so obvious that people often over look this. It's too bad more people can't try out a 9900/9930 for a couple of weeks. I think it would change some views on the subject.
It amazes me that people over look this so often. Don't get me wrong, the iPhone has come a long with with its touch screen keyboard, but still, there is NOTHING like typing on the 9900/9930 keyboard. Suck it Apple!
Just picked up a Bold 9930 yesterday and man is this thing nice. I have been using a Nexus S 4g for several months (HTC Evo before that) and I really missed the physical keyboard. The touch screen was also a great addition!
I LOVE this BOLD. I had a 9000 til it gave up the ghost. Was forced to get an iPhone (they suck caaaaccckkk). Traded a brand new iphone for an old Bold 9000 and then got the 9900 this week. the apple product is perfect for kids or folks who wanna play with apps. And here in lower rural Alabama I actually have 4G service.
Got my bold 9900 ten days ago and I'm having a great experience, the keyboard is great (even better than the 9000). Glad I picked my 9900 instead of the iphone.
i went from an 8520 to the 9900...kinda like going from a honda civic to a mercedes! i absolutely love this thing, and when bbx comes out in a bold form factor, this one will probably go to my gf(according to her)!
I'm very happy with my 9900. I think its a matter of finding the right OS. This is my 4th OS and its perfect. I got what I needed, longer battery life and very smooth.

Its a good phone and often misunderstood(althogh some problem are more serious than others). Don't let the naysayers overwhelms the forum. This is the thread to check real feedback from average users like us. For users who haven't, please vote and leave comments.
