Haha... finally got it on what a hassle. hope I don't have to go back I don't have the other Os that came with the phone.
You can access pretty much all OS's here:
BlackBerry - Desktop & Device Software Download Sites for BlackBerry users - US

You can also check the 9900/9930 Forum and look for threads of other 9930 OS builds.

    Hi,
Link offers download for Windows users. Is the mac version of download available yet?
    First off, welcome to CrackBerry!

Considering this is actually your carrier, if you open DM (i.e. Desktop Software for Mac) and connect your 9930 to your Mac, it should offer you the OS update.

DM for Mac only allows you to update to an OS released (endorsed) by your own carrier.
Otherwise, Mac users can only access other OS's by having a partition, virtual Windows environment, etc. I know some people use Bootcamp or VMWare Fusion to set things up.
Within that environment, you would need to install DM for PC and the OS, then follow same instructions as other users.

So does this make your 9930 into a BB10 model? No? And you people are calling this news this week?!?
    I keed, I keed.
Not everyone sees the release of BB10 as being akin to the second coming of Christ or indeed has a great deal of interest in it.

I'm sure that many of us will be using our trusty 9900/9930 for many months to come, so for the poorly treated 9930 community, yes, this is big news.

OS7 devices will be around for a very long time with a loyal band of users if OS5 and OS6 are anything to judge by.
    Relax, my friend!
My comments were meant in jest. I do not disagree with you!

Then I guess my ability to manage individual alerts/volume settings, backup & sync contacts via DM, etc. is imaginary too?

I really want a Z10, but I'm going to hold off until 10.1 in the hopes BB adds back in some basic functionalities...sigh.

Might be better off waiting for the Q10 which may be a more mature device given it's later release.

Think that it has a higher capacity battery than the Z10 too which has to be a bonus.

What happened with the last software for 9930? The Visafone Nigeria posted last week.
A bit gone everywhere and no one promotes him as the official OS.
    Are any problems with it?

I just found out about this OS today so I just downloaded it!.. I'm already liking it! The LED customization is cool. It's about time they put that in there!.. I also noticed it's a lil bit smoother.. The hourglass doesn't show up as much.. Also some minor changes I see. In the application switcher is says, "Switch Applications" which I believe was there in earlier OS' but wasn't in some later versions.. Also in Password Keeper the Titles of kept passwords is BIGGER and also separated by lines. Also in the clock when you set the alarm is has the option to select "Ok" or "Cancel" which before you had to press the back key to save it. So overall I think they finally just tweaked this OS so it would be complete! Since BB10 is available now, OS 7 went out with a bang!!

The only issue I've found so far is that the browser starts scrolling sluggishly from time to time and the only way to fix it is to close all the tabs and start the browser again. This never happened previously...

I haven't experienced any issues with the browser.. Overall this is the most solid OS I have used!

Has anyone had the issue of when the device finishes updating it shows the White Screen of Death with the Error 6XX (can't remember the exact number for knowing that you Have to reset the phone)?
I got that when I updated this, in fact it happened when I updated to the last OS version which was .825.
