I am trying to convert some .avi files to .m4v and then sync to my Blackberry 9900.
I have a Mac so I have been trying Handbrake. I can convert the video files fine, but when I use Desktop Manager and try to sync, it just gets stuck trying to optimize the videos for the sync.

Wondering if anyone knows a way to create proper formated videos to sync with Blackberry 9900 on a Mac.

Into the video folder on my BB?
I tried that. It transfers but doesn't show up when I try to access it on my phone

Have you tried rebooting the phone?

I mean, if they xfer'd, they should be there...

Also, I have noticed, my computer (Win7), (could your MAC be doing something along the same lines?) has decided that my device mem and msdcard are two separate drives.

Where are you pasting them to?

Video needs to be in the BlackBerry/videos folder.

I can see my videos, but I can't play this 22min/178MB AVI video, even though I think it meets spec. Media Player Classic says:

    Video: Xvid 624x352 25.00fps 933kbps [Video 0]
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz stereo 131kbps [Audio 1]
