I was trying to order a 9930 this morning but even though I qualify for a new every two $30 discount, it didn't show up anywhere during the order process. Later, I found out that if I'd manually put in the code NE2, I probably would have gotten it.

I called the Verizon Wireless 800 number and as the customer service rep was helping me place the order, she told me that I would get an additional $50 discount for ordering via a live person on the phone. The downside is that it takes at least two days for phone orders to be processed.

The upside is: the 9930's base price is $249.99 with a 2 year contract - $50 discount for being an existing Verizon customer - $30 new every two discount - $50 phone order discount = $119.99.

Using the BlackBerry Trade Up Program, I should get another $40 when I trade in my old 9360 Tour. So my net out of pocket should be only $80. Woot! Worth the wait.
