Wow. 4 pages of posts and, other than the stuff RIM gives you like BB Protect, Maps, and Traffic, I have NONE of the apps anyone has listed. I used Navita and Slovoed Dictionary for translation (border state), Database Viewer Plus to "access" my customer databases, and Beamsuite for printing email attachments while on the road. Those of you loading your phone with free cr*p should remember the first law of the interwebs: If you're not the customer or the vendor, you're the product.

The problem with BB protect is that it will not know if the connection dropped for a second that it only backed up part of your data. And the real kicker is you won't know either until you try to restore and half of your contacts are missing, or worse. The DM has always worked and has gotten better.

never thought of that. i guess you could select "only backup over wifi" and set it to do it at like 5am when you know youll be home. other than that... yea youre right. that could totally happen.

I don't even use BlackBerry Protect... I guess I have it incase of emergencies. But I don't plan on losing my device... I'm a CrackBerry addict, can't let go.

Yeah me either. I don't plan on accidents...but they do happen. One day at work all my contacts disappeared! One click on BB Protect and I'm back in business!!!Don't leave home without it!

Oh and BB Travel. Necessity if you travel.

I've tried using Evernote in the past and just couldn't find enough uses for it versus using the native MemoPad. Could someone fill me on how they use this app to benefit them? I want to make sure I'm not missing out. Great thing about Blackberry is that the tools available to become more efficient are infinite!

    Apps I use:
BB Traffic (Works better than any other voice turn by turn on a mobile device)
    BerryBuzz
    BeWeather
    Twitter
    FB/FB Messenger
    Fightin' Words
    Foursquare
    Score Mobile
    Poynt
    AP Mobile
    Meterberry
    PhotoEditor Ultimate
    Amazon MP3 Store
    Pandora

On evernote, I find the only and I mean only use for it is to be able to review notes you've taken on your pc/laptop. The UI on the pb and phone makes it difficult to add notes. even editing notes is a chore.

Meterberry may only be available on mobihand for now. If you have a BB7 device the Device Analyzer built into the os will give you your battery drain rate and other apps to manage memory now.

    Most useful apps:
FACELOCK (TO stop accidentally touching screen buttons While on Call)
Documents to Go (came with my phone but VERY useful for opening every kind of doc)
SugarSync app (5 gig on the cloud for free...had to do it)
ExtraKeys (for three extra external app launch keys)
Quickpull (for those frequent battery pulls without pulling the battery)
Scanlife (for scanning most any barcode)
Garmin mobile ('cause I need turn by turn directions)
Fixmo tools (I use the wifi connection to PC most but has many utilities)
slide Lock (stops accidental dialing on my blackberry touch screen)
Advanced OS and led (I like the color LED options)
BeWeather or Berry Weather (I like a pretty weather display -- works in conjunction with the Quickweather app:)
iNEW7 theme (better looking and faster than stock os 7 theme)

Instead of browsing AppWorld for apps that might be of any use to me, I figure I'd ask y'all to chime in on what you have installed. The only paid app I've bought so far is iMazing for email features. Free ones installed on my Bold are: BeWeather, Flashlight, Poynt (not sure if I even use it), Tunein Radio.

What do you all have on yours?

No, it's a turn by turn nav app for free! I use Garmin mobile but I occasionally use Traffic and it's pretty darn cool!

Blackberry Traffic is a nav app? i thought it only reports traffic conditions wherever you're at?
