    I got a message that there are software update available on my new 9900. I scheduled the update at 2 am as there was a message indicating that it will take 2 hours and I won't be able to use my phone. I woke up to a screan with 10% back up and since then stuck at that screen.

    Contacted att tech support and blackberry support they spent 4 hours trying to fix my problem and nobody could. Their easy suggestion is wipe out the phone!

    I have text messages that are vital in a custody case for my children I can't afford to loste those anyone can help me I will be more than grateful

    when trying to backup using the desk top manager PC or Mac it won't finish updating Tech support did web ex and tried everything to try to fix the problem. Any tips?

    Do you have a recent back up at all either on DM or BB Protect ?

    If so you could try re installing your previous OS and then restoring your messages from backup.
