Okay so...Last night I did the leaked upgrade from .254 to .353 and everything seems to be working great (faster scrolling, no accidental clicks, NFC option...etc) but with the .254 I had a halfway decent battery life.

I spent the day in NYC today (full service all day) and maybe made 5-8 phone calls and used google maps 3-4 times but made sure to exit the program after each brief use. By the end of the day my battery was a 19%!! I've never had a phone lose so much battery from such little use and I am POSITIVE it would of lasted longer had I kept the .254...

I see people are saying the .353 increased their battery life but it reduced mine significantly! Anyone else having the same thing happen??

I would but I'm using 9930..from what I understand the .440 only works on the 9900

    I'm on .353
How bad it was? For my daily usage (BBM, Email, Calls, Whatsapp, Twitter + Browsing), it lasts at least 11-12 hours.

Im thinking of going back to .254..its not worth having a phone when the battery doesn't last the whole day

.362 is probably the best OS you will get as of now.

.176 is an old pre-release OS build... you can't possibly 'downgrade' from that.

There are many, many threads on how to upgrade your OS if you search.

I have searched for .362 jAsia, but i found none.

Btw, is .362 for 9930 only or both 9900/9930?

.362 seems to be the best for the 9930 right now. I'm considering switching back to .254 to compare the battery specs since it seems that a lot of users are reporting better battery life with the stock OS. Not like we have anything to use NFC yet anyways so you may want to stay on .254 or give 362 a shot while you're experimenting.

I had similar issues. I uninstalled Wifi manager and all seems ok. I can't say it is the reason BUT I was in Toronto on extended network from tuesday to saturday morning. Then from Sunday night to Wednesday night I was at a hospital which had horrible network coverage and a saved wifi network.

Thursday didn't seem much better while at home and around town so I uninstalled it last night and am doing quite well.

BTW, is .362 in the leak forum? I must have missed it.

I originally had .261 on my bb, battery life was horrible. I'd be lucky to last 6 or 7 hours. But .353 on my 9900 gave me pretty good battery life. I'd get between 12 and 14 hours of normal usage out of it. Standby was great, acceptable discharge rate. I have since upgraded to .439 and now the battery lasts forever, been on for over 12 hours right now and I still have roughly half my battery there.

Meterberry hourly drain rate numbers on my bold 9900.
    7.0.0.261 was 19% on average.
    7.0.0.353 was 11.5% on average.
    7.0.0.439 currently 6.3% on average
