    I pulled the trigger on my upgrade and have a 9930 heading my way . My question is will the memory card I have in my 9650 be able to be read in the 9930?

    Yes it will. Pull it out of your 9650 and plug it in to your 9930. Easy as that. Worked for me going from my 9550 to 9930.

    I would back up your memory card before you try to use it though.
    Remember that the 9930 doesn't have a hotswapable slot though. You have to pull the battery before pulling the card out.

    Thanks for the info. I have a lot of pictures on it I wouldn't want to lose. Yes I will make sure everything is backed up before swapping it just in case.

    what kind of memory-card is it, most likely it shouldn't be a problem.
    so yes you can.
    It is the 8GB Sandisk that came with the phone when I got it a couple years ago.

    +1... I forgot that step. Always a good idea to have a back up of it.

    I moved from a 9650 to a 9930 and the memory card is inter changeable. No Problem
