I would like to upgrade from my 9000 to a 9900. Heard that there are problems with the software. Has that been fixed yet?
Thanks.

Haven't faced any issues at all with version .540
Not sure if RIM fixed it yet, but I haven't faced the problem either.
Very good phone overall!
I am still working on the first release with no problems and the battery is fine for this heavy user!
Running stock AT&T OS with no issues. The 9900 is what the 9000 should have been just as the 9810 is what the 9800 should have been. No bricking issues with my 9900 and battery life is pretty decent.
have had no big issues on mine = hasn't bricked and battery life has been ok
Just loaded the AT&T OS patch and things seems a bit snappier.
I use the leaked OS 7.1 and before that I used Telus OS .261 and I never had an issue. Always charged overnight so some people think overnight charging is the cause can be shot down.
I think these issues are due to a hardware issue NOT a OS issue. RIM is trying to give us run around by saying this is an OS issue. It is up to you. If you want a great keyboard, Bold 99xx is the best. But watchout!
