I'm not sure if this has been posted already or if anyone else is using this procedure when updating their OS.

1. Download the OS.
2. Install it on your PC.
3. Locate & delete the vendor file on your drive C.
4. Open up BB Desktop Manager and plug in your BB.
5. Update should be available on DM.
6. Update and everything will go on smoothly.

Pros: Much easier way to update an OS, compared to using the App Loader.
Cons: You can't pick which Apps/Languages packs to install.

Yes, that's the usual procedure when using the App Loader. But I use Desktop Manager, I just click update then leave it for 20mins then it's done. I find it easier.

hi, i have deleted the vendor file but it still does not work. is there more than one vendor file to delete? thx in advance
