my update failed and my 9900 bold crashed, i have 2 red light blinking, usb doesnt detect the phone in desktop manager and apploader any suggestions?

have you tried apploader w/o the battery in your phone? it has helped me in the past...

yes ive tried it does not help when i hook up the phone to the bb it makes a weird sound when it detects the phone like its in some kind of safe mode.

Try a full wipe with BBSAK which should give you the error message to reload your OS. Once you reload the OS(assuming you have an OS prior to the .440 leak), you should be fine again.

thanks the solution to the fix was connecting the usb cable to the back of my pc because i used the front panel both usb and wouldnt detect the phone. got it all working now with apploader,
