    Good afternoon,

I am thinking of upgrading to the 9900 in November, so I started doing some research and it seems the battery is the only downfall of this phone. So my question is if it is fine to use replacement batteries like the 3000 mAh one here:

    Blackberry Bold 9900 battery (3000 mAh, Black) - €32.49 - Worldwide free shipping - BatteryUpgrade.com - Upgrade your battery!

Or has this issue improved? I would like about... 12-15 hours of battery life conservatively.

With the latest OS installed, you will get 12-15 hours of battery life.

There are many companies working on extended batteries for this phone, I would wait for a more reputable and known company to put out a product before I would buy it.

If you go for an aftermarket battery and cover you'll also lose the NFC function, as the NFC antenna is built into the OEM battery door. Not such a big deal yet, but it will be when NFC takes off...
