I was living in England and purchased a Blackberry Bold 9900 from O2 network.
I have moved back to Canada and unlocked my blackberry, however, when I put my bell sim card in, it shows SOS at the top right where the connection is. I went to Bell the other day to replace my sim as I thought that it was not working because it was old, however, that did not work either.
Under sim card, everything says "disabled" except for the Network which says "inactive" when the bell sim is in.
    Please could someone help me!

    Hi there,

You may to check the technical specifications of your O2 Bold to see if they use the same frequencies as those permitted on the Bell network. For example, a Bold with Wind won't work on a Bell, Rogers, or Telus system.

A bold with Wind will work on 2G on Rogers/Fido as the Bold from wind supports GSM aka EDGE.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. However, I did speak to O2 and Bell and they said that it should work.
