    Morning all -

    Has anyone noticed that they are NOT receiving Twitter notifications on their BlackBerry 9900? I have uninstalled and re-installed, and even done updates, etc.

    I'm running OS 7.1.0.694, and verified that my notification settings for 'people I follow' is on. I noticed this morning that people had tweeted me, but I received no notifications.

    Weird. Maybe I need to switch to Social Scope, or Scope App (whatever they are called these days), but I remember it killing the battery back in the day (yes, I'm an OLD BlackBerry user\ex-Mod)

    Yes I agree with your observations. Since the newer version got updated, I am not receiving the notifications on my phone. You can see it only when you open the app

    T4BB works perfectly for me, direct DM's or just from people I follow, always get a sound and notification icon. I would love to use socialscope, but that doesn't give me notifications at all.

    ...have you happened to update the Twitter app in the last few days? that's when it seemed to have started.

    Im running OS 7.1.0.694 and twitter notifications are working fine with new update. I have had a few issues with DM's not deleting but it goes away after a reinstall.

    No, But the 'Notify on replies and mentions' is...

    I thought the 'notify of new tweets' was for tweets in general, i.e. no tweets to me, @naviwilliams. To me with that option on, it would notify me every 10 minutes (that's the time setting that I have).

    In the past i have noticed delays(i would get the notification email way before the app would notify me) but recently the both come at the same time.
