I have Bold 9900 and I know don't have the exact same phone. But I had a very small leak on OS 7.0.261 and with OS 7.1 I have no leak at all. I think RIM was expecting mem leaks that's why Memory Cleaner app was loaded in all new OS 7 phones.
Which I use and it still does not return the lost memory.

I have mine to clean every 30 mins into standby time as well. The browser though seems to be the only one not returning the memory. Is tht the same with urs Hank?
