    1. More RAM/Internal Memory

I love my 9700, but I want/need more memory for apps and smoother UI experience.

    2. Bigger Keyboard

I never had the 9000 (I'm on T-Mobile), but I'm really looking forward to the form factor. The 9700 keyboard is just a bit small for my taste (and thumbs).

    3. Better Browser

Could it be? A browser as good as Android/iPhone? Even something close would be nice.

Regardless, I can't wait (well, I can, and will wait...somewhat patiently) until it lands.

I only have one reason. It is a Blackberry. I want a new Blackberry Bold. I call myself a die hard BB fan. Over the years I have tried Iphone, windows, Nokia and Android HTC, but I always come back to BB because it is still the best to me. Iphone 4 is fantastic but my interest on it has waned. Android is interesting but not for me. Nokia..forget it. Windows has potential..but I still want a Blackberry. My trusty Torch is one year old and feels old. I am looking forward to 9900. It looks great, and I have many China friends who will get it when it is available.

    1. Form factor
I used to own a Bold 9000, and I liked it.

    2. Battery life
I used to own a Torch 9800, before it got stolen, and the battery life is just terrible. I'd consider myself lucky if I could get through half a day before I plugged in the charger. Same case with Bold 9000 + OS5, terrible. Now using Bold 9700, it can last more than 12 hours. Hope Bold 9900 can deliver the same performance.

    3. Touch screen & keypad combo
Yes, without having to slide. I hated sliders back in my Nokia days. But I thought since it's a BlackBerry, perhaps I'd like it. Nah, used it, didn't like it. So can you please bring me the Bold 9900 already, RIM?

    Cheers!

The anticipation alone is reason enough for me at this point. Hmm I think I'll still type faster on my Tour though.

I'm just happy for the more powerful processor, sleeker looking device and the cool features like NFC, the higher res camera and bigger screen. (plus the touchscreen with the Bolds keyboard is gonna be sweet. I constantly try and tap the top of my Bolds screen, since I transfered from a Storm2 not too long ago)

And next year your bold touch or any other phone will feel old also. Just can't keep up with tech unless you have money to burn and want to buy a new phone every month or so.

    Not really.
Android happens every month or so. BB is yearly. (Almost)

    1. CrackBerry.
Main reason I can't switch now.

    2. Rewritten OS optimized for GPU usage.
Increased speed? Lower hangups? Yes please.

    3. Touch screen.
Finally when people poke my screen they will get feedback. No more explaining that it won't work.

1- I'm still rockin' the 9000 (best phone i've ever owned) 9900 will be the closest thing but years ahead, so in other words the perfect Bold form factor.

2- The capacitive screen and its high res quality, as well as the camera and other gadgets.

3-Speed and Capabilities, 1.2ghz, yes please.

    1) I'm canadian and therefore obligated to support bb

    2) Liquid graphics... Probably the best branding to come out of rim in a while

    3) New api for barcode scanning... Very slick... Oh, and the nfc stuff... And open gl support... Sexiest keyboard ever... Oh, and the forged stainless steel trim is wicked.

Ah crap, I think that's 6... Ohwell.. I'm sure there are more reasons rattling around in my head.

1.have an upgrade on my line since last year. 2.its either the torch 2 or 9900 for me.my mind is set on those two.boy this will be a toughy decision to make because i can get only one.just will have to play with them. 3.my old device is set for retirement and backup duties.i have waited enough and this as long this old model goes.3 years this baby has served me.i appreciate for whats done.but replacing it now will be a smoother transition.

I had the bold 9000 and I loved the size of it. I have extremely fat fingers, the phone melted into my hands. This phone is going to be nice as long as the bugs don't eat it alive.

I'm on VZW and have been coveting the Bold 9000 for years. Finally I will be able to have that form factor that is even better...

    1. Form factor. Love the size, keyboard and touch screen.

    2. Speed. Can't wait to be able to get things done faster without the dreaded clock popping up (hopefully).

    3. I don't know if anyone else is excited about this but I love how thin this device is. My 9650 feels like a brick to me now after playing with iPhone 4's and my buddy's Droid X.

Well coming from a 2008 Curve 8330 bigger touchscreen with dpi's jus a little lower than iphone, but for 2.8" very good. 2. GOD I HOPE? Better browser that can stack up with iOS5 or Webkit, etc. And since RIM has jerked us around so long, a nice suprise and release the Bold 9900/9930 at $149.99!
