They could always use 3 digits and a letter or just use words.

The name has nothing to do with the performance of the product. Who cares?

What, seeing this exact same topic with the exact same name come up numerous times in the past is too much for you? Better go find another forum then.

Its going to be the new Bold 4G.

Oh, and there will be a 9905 variant with a T9 keypad. And that one will be the only version sold in the EU.

Why not start with hexadecimal or even *gasp* OCTAL numbering? I would love that.

And on a side note, some steroid monkey in a red shirt from the gym next door is making weird gestures outside my window, time to go taunt him.

Assuming that the next generation would all be LTE (there's plenty of room in the 9x00's for more devices), I'm thinking Bx00's or go down to 4x00"
So a B100 would be an LTE Pearl, a B300 Curve, B500 could Possibly be the LTE Storm, but the S3 is starting to look like it's an LTE and it most likely has 9580 as it's number.
heck, you could drop a zero and make it the B10, and the B11,B12 for different versions (T9, eta)

You know, I have always wanted the PIN DEADBEEF. In fact I would pay RIM handsomely for this, no joke.

I say they get away from numbers and come up with cool names. Not like bold pearl storm etc, but like the blackberry invincible, or or blackberry triton.
