    Hi guys,

My Bold 9900 on TELUS is not updating to OS 7.1. It says that 7.0 Bundle 2406 is the most recent.

Before, it said that "Only active Blackberry service subscribers are entitled to install this Blackberry Device Software Update."

I'm on TELUS Prepaid, and I have a SIM Card in. Is there an alternative option?

    Thanks.

If you don't have an active BlackBerry data plan, you'll have to download the OS to your PC and update manually.

Use Loader.exe instead of Desktop Manager.

Download the Download Manager(DM) and install it on your computer from RIM's website.

Go to here and download the OS for Bold 9900; https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/D...E607FE7CC0E1A0

Install the OS file on the computer and then it should appear on the DM as an available upgrade to your phone.

Before installing on your device, remove both "vendor.xml" files. Just do a search on your computer.
