Anyway; Telus is out; I'm installed, everything seems to work. Mobile Hotspot is on-board of course; how do I tell if the wifi calling or UMA is enabled?

So I'm posting from my Playbook using the hot spot feature because blackberry bridge is no longer on my phone since the update and I can't seem to download it - I can find it in AppWorld but there is no download button. Anyone else having this issue?

Telus do not have a UMA system in their network. So you will not have the UMA feature on your phone.

Same situation for me; no OTA but after syncing my 9900 was notified that a software update was now available.

Now operating with 7.1 Bundle 921 (v7.1.0.267, Platform 5.1.0.230).

Way to go TELUS!

Try downloading from RROYY - APPLICATIONS and get the 7.1 version of Bridge from there. Worked for me.

I'm confused, 921 7.1.167 IS the "leaked" version (heh, blackberry and their wack strategies) so this is the same as the leaked release? I'll check with my bell bold 9900 (running leaked os) to see if there is an update.

Yes this is the same as the leaked OS, along with the usual Telus junk that would not be in the leak.

Hum... I guess this is depend on the area because with 3 Blackberries in my household with Telus we have never received an OTA update. We are in Calgary and my mom use Bold 9780, and I have Bold 9900 and we also have a Bold 9700 and none of these had OTA updates from Telus for the last four years or so.

No idea why SK Telecom pulled it, and no real reason for you to switch... it's exactly the same OS

Weird. We're in Calgary area as well. Maybe it just takes them longer to push them out OTA and by then you've already updated via the DM?

I had an issue with bb bridge too. Had to uninstall app. Reboot, then reinstall via app world. Icon came back and bb bridge found my pb right away. No problems after.

I've only been using it for just over 24 hours but so far I haven't noticed any negative performance compared to 7.0.0.585. Battery life is good, everything is as snappy and responsive as before; only difference I've noticed is the mobile hotspot and media server functions.

Even if that was the case why would the release it for one day and then pull it?
