Did anyone have e-mail issues?

I had to delete and re-add my e-mail accounts.

Second, I have the 90% "error" as well. WTF?

Third, I also have an issue with these GODDAMN icons re-appearing after hiding them...every single time I reboot.

I haven't had any of the issues you're having. I did find an update to 7.0.0.576 waiting on DM. Have been running the updated OS for a day and all has been working flawlessly. Maybe the update will clear-out the gremlins.

Hiding bloat icons has been covered ad nauseam. You put them in a junk folder and hide the folder. My email came up just fine with the update.

No issues. Once I downloaded the update, I used DM to install it. I thought that I was going to use the apploader method which I have not done in a couple of years. I am on BES as this is my work 9900. Could it be a service book issue? Did you try removing account and re-adding it?

Yes, that's how to describe the issue I had. It was an easy fix.

However, i still can only charge to 90%.
